Mila first encountered the art of landscape architecture while growing up in Bulgaria – a very small country with diverse landscapes and rich history, nestled on the Balkan Peninsula in southeast Europe. She studied Landscape Architecture at the University of Forestry in Sofia.
Upon receiving her degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2006, Mila joined Parker Rodriguez, where she polished her skills and built up her professional experience by working on numerous complex projects. She is a Professional Landscape Architect, licensed in the State of Maryland.
Mila brought her passion for creating artful landscapes of discovery and exploration to Moody Graham in 2017. She has always been intrigued by nature, by its beauty, by its power, and its irregular perfection. Mila is particularly interested in understanding the changing dynamics of nature, how this informs design and leads to artful, resilient landscapes that evoke dialogue and promote human interaction.
Mila likes going on adventures and exploring the world through the lenses of her two wild and wonderful boys.
