Amanda joined Moody Graham in 2015 after completing her Masters of Landscape Architecture at Virginia Tech. While at Virginia Tech Amanda was awarded the Potomac ASLA Chapter Student Honor Award and was a member of the multidisciplinary team that was selected as the winner of the Casey Tree Farm Master Plan Competition. Her experience includes working across the public, non-profit, and education sectors, while performing diverse roles from design charrette organizer to communications coordinator.
With a background as an artist and an environmental advocate, she believes in integrating sensitivity to form and experience with the natural environment. Her work aims to bring about stronger connections between people and place by embracing the innate desire to be closer to nature, even in the most urban of places.
